As men age their testosterone levels naturally drop. There can also be a number of reasons that the common man, even the young, can be plagued by this malady. But, there are ways to keep this all important man hormone at the highest level possible. This is useful for a number of reasons, libido, stamina, strength, energy, muscle recovery, temper tantrums, lack of patience…especially the last two. I will keep this short for the menfolk.
1. Resistance Training
Doing this at least 3 times a week will raise your levels significantly. Train until your sore and continually change your workout for the best effect.
2. Get a full nights rest
Not sleeping raises stress hormone levels, especially a hormone known as cortisol. So get your rest pal, it makes you strong like bull!
3. Red Meat
You love it anyway.
4. Morning Sex
Having sex first thing in the morning raises testosterone levels significantly for your day. Is
there honestly a better way to wake up? Just tell your wife that it’s the cure for cancer or something. Also, this helps reduce stress, lowering cortisol levels therefore letting testosterone reign SUPREME!
5. Eat fats/Eliminate Sugar
These should go hand in hand. Replace sugar with fat, you weren’t made for refined sugar and refined carbs. Some good options are: Bacon, salmon, steak, almonds, cashews, coconut oil, olive oil (raw).
6. Optimize Vitamin D and Zinc Levels
This is a great supplement to a healthy diet. These micro-nutrients are both involved in the process of creating testosterone in your body.
7. Squat and Dead-lift
Using your big muscles gets a big hormone response. Both growth hormone and testosterone are released in higher quantities directly after these exercises.
8. Grab the Bull by the Horns
